Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -Israeli occupation forces demolished on Tuesday Palestinian home in Jerusalem neighbourhood of Silwan and wounded five Palestinians.
Silwan Information Centre said that the Israeli forces stormed Wadi Yasoul area of the neighbourhood at dawn, surrounded a Palestinian house and demolished it.
Yousif Simrin, the house owner, built his home in September without a license from the Jerusalem municipality. A couple of months later, Simrin died.
The Israeli occupation authorities said that Simrin must have had construction license before building his house; however, Simrin sons said that their late father paid thousands of USDs to get the license, but the Israelis did not issue it.
During the demolition, the Israeli occupation forces fired steel-coated-with-rubber bullets at locals attempted to reach the area during the demolition, injuring residents five residents.

Silwan is one of many Palestinian neighbourhoods in East Jerusalem to face ongoing threat of demolition and displacement.
