The lands are owned by a number of Palestinian citizens. The Israeli authorities plan to turn the allocated lands to state land.

According to the Israeli general radio, this land was used by Israeli Jewish settlers; therefore, it must be annexed to the illegal Israeli settlement of Almog in the area.
Palestinians insist that this land is Palestinian and the Israeli occupation banned its owners from using it for decades.
“Whenever we plant a tree in this land, the Israeli Jewish settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation army, uproot it,” Ayham Dweeri, one of the Palestinian owners, told Days of Palestine.
