More than 60 percent of the Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces over the last 80 days were shot down at illegal Israeli military checkpoints in the occupied West Bank.
In a report, Al-Quds Centre for Israeli and Palestinian Studies said: “Sixty-eight per cent of the Palestinians killed during the current intifada were shot down by the Israeli soldiers at checkpoints across the occupied West Bank.”
The report added: “Most of those slain were killed in Al-Khalil Province, where 50 Palestinians have lost their lives since the start of the Intifada which began in October of last year.”
It added: “The Israeli army has killed 30 children and seven women in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during the same time.”
At least 116 of the 162 Palestinians, who were killed by the Israeli occupation forces, were murdered “in cold blood,” the Palestinian ministry of health said. “Bodies of 10 martyrs are still being held by the Israeli occupation.
