Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces have executed 51-year-old Palestinian at Za’tara Checkpoint, south of West Bank city of Nablus.
Witnesses said that a Palestinian man took off a taxi and headed towards the pedestrian path, wanted to pass through the Israeli military checkpoint.
“Suddenly, a I heard a sound of automatic shooting near me,” a Palestinian eyewitness told Days of Palestine. “I looked at the direction of the shooting and found a Palestinian man lying on the ground.”
Palestinian medical sources said that the Palestinian citizen Hassan Sarrisi, 51, was killed by Israeli live ammunition near Nablus.
According to the Palestinian medical sources, the Israeli occupation forces refused to allow Palestinian paramedics to offer health aid to the man and left him bleeding to death.
Spokeswoman of the Israeli occupation forces claimed that the man planned to carry out a stabbing assault against the Israeli soldiers in the site.
