Days of Palestine, West Bank/ Gaza Strip –Israeli occupation killed 72 Palestinians, wounded 2,240 others in October, Palestinian ministry of health said on Saturday.
According the ministry, the deaths included 15 children and two babies, including an eight-month old infant.
The ministry also said that 2,240 Palestinians were wounded during the month; in addition to more than 5,000 others inhaled tear gas and suffered different health problems.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested more than 1,500 Palestinians, including a large number of children.
Sixteen of the recently arrested Palestinians were wounded with live bullets and are in urgent need for proper medical care, which is denied by the Israeli Prison Services.
Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC) said that the Israeli occupation opened new departments for minor Palestinian prisoners after their number exceeded 300.
In addition, the number of female prisoners also increased as it became 40, including four wounded with live bullets and are suffering difficult health conditions.
