Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Monday six Palestinian hunger-strikers from inside their prison in Al-Naqab.
In a statement, the Head of the Palestinian Prisoners Committee Issa Qaraqei said that the six prisoners, who entered 13th day of their hunger strike, are under administrative detention.
He said that the Israeli Special Forces broke into their prison without pre-caution, kidnapped then and took then into an unknown place.
According to Qaraqei, the prisoners Nidal abu-Akar, 48, Shadi Ma’ali, 39, Ghassan Zawahreh, 32, all from Bethlehem, Badr al-Ruzza and Munir abu-Sharar from Al-Khalil began their hunger strike on August18, protesting their detention without trial.
Qaraqei blamed the Israeli occupation for their safety, security and health. “Symptoms of sickness resulted of their hunger-strike started to appear on their bodies,” he said. “They need special healthcare,” he added.
The Palestinian official called on all international organisations to put pressure on the Israeli occupation in order to release them as soon as possible.
