Farmer wounded, 5 fishermen arrested in Gaza

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –Israeli occupation forces wounded on Wednesday morning Palestinian farmer, arrested five fishermen in Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources said that the Israeli occupation tanks invaded Palestinian farmers in the west of the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Farmers, who were working in their farms, refused to flee. Witnesses said that the Israeli forces opened fire towards them. One was reported moderately wounded by medical sources.

Meanwhile, Israeli gunships approached the fishing boats of the Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza coast. They opened fire towards the fishermen and their boats.

Head of the Fishermen Syndication Nizar Ayyash said that five fishermen from the city of Rafah were reported wounded.

Ayyash affirmed that there were no casualties among the fishermen. However, he condemned this kind of daily aggression against the fishermen.
