Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Local Planning and Building Committee in Jerusalem approved on Wednesday building permits 306 settlement units.
From the 306 settlement units, 28 were new submissions, 216 have been previously approved to be built in the settlement of Ramot and the remaining 62 in the settlement of Har Homa.
All the settlements, where the new units were designed to be built are located in occupied Palestinian territories.
Jewish Mayor of the Palestinian city of Jerusalem said that the Israeli government would not stop building new apartments for Jews in the city, considering it the capital of ‘Israel.’
“The municipality will not freeze construction for Jews in the capital of ‘Israel,’” a statement issued by the mayor’s office said.
