Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –A Palestinian child was killed on Wednesday afternoon as an Israeli leftover missile blew up Beit Hanoun, north Gaza Strip.
Spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra said that the 4 year old Palestinian child Mohamed abu-Jard was killed in the explosion in the city of Beit Hanoun.
At first, Mohammad was severely injured when an unexploded missile blew up when he was playing in the backyard of his house. He was rushed to Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza City in critical condition. Just minutes later, he was announced dead.

Hundreds of unexploded Israeli missiles have been found in different place along the Gaza Strip. A large number of people reported unexploded missiles in their partially damaged houses, as well as in their farms.
Watch groups have several times warned people of touching any suspicious objects. Palestinian civil defence services distributed fliers with pictures of potential suspicious objects and include emergency numbers to be phone in case of finding these objects.
Mohamed is the 10th Gaza civilian, in addition to the Italian journalist, who was killed in an unexploded Israeli missile in the Gaza Strip.
