Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces have arrested mentally disabled Palestinian boy in Al-Khalil, Israeli watch dog said on Monday.

Israeli human rights organisation B’Tselem published a video showing the Israeli soldiers handcuffing and blindfolding the 11-year old dump boy.

According to B’Tselem, the video was recorded on Sunday in Jabal Johar neighbourhood in the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khalil.

The Israeli soldiers grabbed the dumb boy while dozens of Jewish Israeli settlers from the nearby illegal Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba were happily watching the incident. The ywere chanting anti-Arab insults.

The boy, identified by the human rights organisation as A al-Rajbi to protect his identity, is not yet 12 years of age. This puts him below the age of legal culpability.

In the footage, which was shot by a B’Tselem volunteer from an overlooking window, the soldiers can be seen slapping al-Rajbi and blindfolding him before throwing him into the back of an army jeep.

Meanwhile, there were voices of people in the background speaking to the Israeli soldiers telling them that the boy in disable, but the Israeli soldiers told them to go far away and did not respond to their calls.

The Israeli occupation army claimed that the boy was amng others were throwing stones at the illegal Israeli settlers, as well as they did not know that he was disabled.
