Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli occupation demolished on Tuesday three Palestinian homes, three stores in Al-Tur area, east of Jerusalem’s Old City.
Witnesses said that large numbers of Israeli troops escorted the Israeli bulldozers, which got out from the illegal Israeli settlement of Beit El.
The Israeli troops at first placed bombs at the doors of the houses and detonated them.

They forced the residents out and then the bulldozers demolished the houses of Al-Zari family, leaving 23 civilians homeless.
Khader al-Zari, owner of one of the houses said: “The Israeli occupation forces broke the main doors, forcibly evicted us and did not allow us to take out furniture or any possessions.”
According to the Israeli media, the houses were built without getting the needed licenses, but Al-Zari said the houses were built in the 1980s, and that the family had been attempting to obtain the necessary permits and licenses from the Israeli civil administration for years.
He said the family had paid over 150,000 shekels (about $40,000) for lawyers and engineers in order to get the needed licenses, which are beyond the demand regarding Palestinian buildings.
Israeli forces regularly demolish Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, usually under the pretext that the residents did not have the necessary permits.
Palestinians are rarely granted permits to build new houses or extend already existed houses. On Sunday, a Jerusalemite was obliged to demolish his house with his own hands.
According to the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, the Israeli occupation has destroyed 359 structures in the occupied West Bank this year.
