The Engineering Unit of the Palestinian police in Gaza said in a statement that it deactivated the Israeli missiles collected by its staff from different areas around the southern cities of the Strip.
In the statement, the police called on residents to be careful and act with extreme caution when they find “suspicious devices.”
On Friday, two Palestinians were killed and three others wounded when an Israeli bomb blew up in Sheja’ia neighbourhood of eastern Gaza City. One of the wounded succumbed to his wounds later on.

In mid-August, before the end of the Israeli war, six people were killed and another six were critically wounded after an unexploded Israeli missile blew up in Beit Lahia.
Italian journalist Simone Camilli was among the dead.
Experts say the Israeli leftover missiles pose a serious threat to the Gaza residents as tens of them still buried in farms and far places since the Israeli wars in 2008/9 and 2012.
