Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Deputy Israeli Knesset Speaker Moshe Feiglin, with 15 of settlers, broke into the Yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning.
Sources inside the Mosque said that the extremist Israeli official was heavily protected by the Israeli police.
“Feiglin entered from Al-Magharbeh Gate and wandered inside the Mosque, near the Dome of the Rock,” the sources said.
The Israeli police imposed a strict curfew around Al-Aqsa Mosque before and during the time Feiglin spent inside the Mosque. They prevented men under 50 and all women from entering into the Mosque.
It is worth mentioning to know that Feiglin said, during a visit to the Palestinian neighbourhood of Silwad in Jerusalem, he was planning to perform Talmudic rituals inside Al-Aqsa Mosque soon.
This visit came amidst of repeated aggressions of the Israeli settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque. Israeli police used stun grenades and tear gas to push the Palestinians out of the Noble Yards of the Mosque.
