Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli intelligence services arrested on Wednesday Palestinian wounded and his mother when they were returning back from Turkey.

The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) said that the wounded Ghassan abdul-Nabbi, 22, and his mother were arrested when they landed in Ben Gurion Airport returning back from Turkey.

According to the PCHR, Abdul-Nabbi, from the city of Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip, travelled to Turkey on August 28 for treatment as he was hurt in an Israeli airstrike before the end of the war.

Few hours after the arrest, the mother was released, the PCHR said, and the wounded remained in prison despite his difficult health condition.

Regarding the development of the situation, the human rights organisation said that its lawyer is following up contacts in order to get more information about the circumstances of the arrest and the whereabouts prisoner.

The PCHR expressed concerns about the possibility that the prisoner might be investigated under illegal circumstances and tortured, while he has not recovered from his serious wounds.
