Days of Palestine, West Bank/Jerusalem –Israeli occupation arrested on Thursday 20 Palestinians in different areas in occupied West Bank; while tens of Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Security sources said that the Israeli occupation invaded the West Bank city of Al-Khalil, broke into houses of Palestinian citizens and arrested three civilians.
Another group of the Israeli occupation forces broke into Beit Awwa in the south-east of Al-Khalil and arrested the former prisoner Mu’taz al-Masalmeh, 25, and another member from the same family.
In Jenin, the Israeli occupation broke into the houses of the Palestinian citizens and arrested 14 civilians.

Witnesses said that the civilians were investigated in the streets and then led to unknown places.
The other two Palestinians were reported arrested in Bethlehem. Family members said that they did not know any reason behind the arrest.
Meanwhile, Palestinian medical sources reported that the Palestinian citizen Yousef Salhab, 23, was admitted to Al-Khalil Hospital. He suffered bruises in different parts of his body caused by Israeli forces attack on him while he was walking in Al-Shallalah Street in the centre of the city.
In the early morning, tens of Israeli settlers invaded Al-Aqsa Mosque and wandered in the Holy Yards inside. Under heavy security protection form the Israeli police, they entered from Al-Magharbeh Gate.
One of the settlers attempted to go up the Dome of the Rock, but the Mosque’s guards stopped then and drove them out of the Mosque.
Head of the Media Department in Al-Aqsa Foundation for the Protection of the Islamic Waqf and Heritage Mohamed abul-Atta said that the Mosque’s guards had received messaged from the Israeli police telling them they would be arrested if they encounter the settlers inside the Mosque.
