Days of Palestine, West Bank –Families of the Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails said on Thursday that Israeli occupation prevented them from visiting their sons.

Director of the Prisoners’ Club in Al-Khalil Amjad al-Najjar said that the Israeli occupation forces at Tarqumia Checkpoint had revoked tens of visit permits from the relatives of the prisoners inside the Israeli jails.
Old man Mohamed Abeedo, the father of patient prisoner Motaz Abeedo, said that the Israeli intelligence services in Tarqumian Checkpoint revoked visit permits from him and his daughters.
“My son is patient and has been in Al-Ramleh Prison for a long time,” Abeedo said. “We are afraid he might be suffering serious illnesses. We are eager to visit him.”
Tens of prisoners’ families reported Israeli occupation had revoked their visit permits and pressured them to go back home without giving reasons for these measures.
More than 7,000 Palestinians are currently in the Israeli jails. More than 1,400 prisoners are suffering different kinds of diseases and around 400 under illegal administrative detention.
