Family sources yesterday evening, Friday said that the Palestinian Authority’s Security Service had kidnapped an ex-prisoner in the city of Jenin.
Umm Ahmad al-Jabali said, in a press statement, that the PA security forces kidnapped her husband, Sheikh Atta al-Jabali, from the mosque’s door, without giving reasons.
The PA security forces continue their attacks and violations against citizens in the West Bank by pursuing and arresting them on political grounds.
It also attacked, during the past few days, a number of processions of the released prisoners and the funerals of the martyrs, and summoned citizens because of their participation in the celebration of the liberated Palestinians from Israeli jails.
Yesterday evening, Thursday, a campaign of arrests was launched in separate areas in the Hebron governorate, targeting freedmen, activists, and journalists.
PA security forces in Hebron arrested journalist Musab Qafisha after a joint force of PA security forces stormed and searched his house.
The PA security forces in Hebron also surrounded the home of the freed prisoner Hamid Al-Zir in the town of Dura, south of Hebron, and were unable to arrest him.

In Tulkarm, the authority’s preventive officer arrested Muthanna Al-Masri, a student at Al-Khadoori University, from Tulkarm.
