The Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, while clashes erupted in Silwad town, east of Ramallah.
According to the Prisoners Information Center, the occupation forces raided Burqa village, east of Ramallah, and arrested the freed prisoner Khaled Nawabit, who spent seven years in the occupation prisons.
The occupation forces also raided Silwad town, east of Ramallah, and arrested Birzeit University student Abdel Ghani Awni Fares before releasing him, Moataz Hamed and Abdul Rahman Fares.
Silwad town witnessed violent confrontations between the occupation forces and Palestinians who threw stones at the Israeli military vehicles.
The freed prisoner, Karam Qazzaz, from Dura, south of Hebron, was also arrested, in addition to 4 Jerusalemites from Al-Isawiya town.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that the Israeli intelligence services and the occupation forces stormed Al-Isawiya town, then raided several houses and arrested number of Palestinians.
The center stated that the occupation forces arrested the child Ahmed Al-Afghani, 11 years old, Saleh Abu Asab, Qassem Derbas, and Muhammad Mustafa, and transferred them to interrogation in the Al-Maskobiya Center “Room 4”.
In the same context, the occupation forces raided Palestinian houses in Ni’lin, Deir Qadis, Kharbatha Bani Harith and Bil’in, west of Ramallah, and searched them, as the occupation forces also closed all entrances to Ya’bad town, south of Jenin, and prevented citizens from entering or leaving it.
