Days of Palestine – Ramallah
Israeli occupation forces Tuesday overnight detained eight Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank, according to local and security sources.
They said that Israeli forces rounded up a Palestinian after breaking into his family house in Beitunia town, west of Ramallah city.
They also rounded up another after storming his family house in al-Mughayyir village, northeast of the city.
The soldiers also barged their way into al-Baluo‘ neighborhood of al-Bireh city and forcibly entered a house to detain another Palestinian, who was not there.
In the Jerusalem district, the sources confirmed a military raid in Biddu town, northwest of the city, resulting in the detention of two others.
Police detained another from the Old City of Jerusalem as reported by the Wadi Hilweh Information Center.

In the northern West Bank, soldiers showed up at a house in Jaba‘ town, south of Jenin city, searched the house, and re-arrested another former prisoner.
Undercover Israeli forces, known as Mista’arvim, using a civilian vehicle with a Palestinian registration plate, sneaked their way into Qalqiliya city and abducted another from a local restaurant.
Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
