Abu Maria delivered that the Israeli occupation authority and its settlers had seized and fenced in 2006 over 250 dunums of land belonging to Beit Ummar families.
He affirmed that Israel’s settlement activity and its common assaults on nearby farmers had significantly affected the town’s agricultural production and economic well-being, whose populace is closely dependent on agriculture.
The local official stated that the Israeli occupation authority currently announced the construction of forty settler houses on annexed land close to the town, whilst some settlers took over different tracts of Palestinian-owned land withinside the town’s agricultural area
