Israeli occupation forces on Monday arrested at least 17 Palestinians, including a university professor, from various parts of the occupied territories, according to various sources.

In the clashes that followed, dozens suffered suffocation from inhaling tear gas.
The city has experienced great tensions in recent months following the leveling of around 300 dunums of village land on the site of Mount alAlem (Jabal alAlem) for the construction of a new colonial outpost.
Also in the Ramallah district, Israeli forces rounded up four other people, including a father and two sons, from the Jalazone refugee camp north of the city of Ramallah.
In the district of Nablus, Israeli military vehicles stormed the Balata refugee camp, east of the city of Nablus, where soldiers ransacked several houses and arrested two residents.
In East Jerusalem, Israeli police arrested another after he broke into his family’s home and questioned him in the Ras al Amoud neighborhood. They also arrested a resident of the alTur neighborhood while in West Jerusalem and another person from the Isawiyya neighborhood in East Jerusalem.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces attacked the city of Doha, west of Bethlehem, resulting in the arrest of one person. They also carried out a similar raid in the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of the city of Bethlehem, with the arrest of a former prisoner.
