Days of Palestine – Ramallah

Seven prisoners are continuing their open hunger strike in the Israeli occupation prisons, in refusal of their administrative detention.

In addition to Fasfos, 5 prisoners are continuing their strike who are Miqdad Al-Qawasmeh for 88 days, Alaa Al-Araj for 71 days, Hisham Abu Hawash for 62 days, Shadi Abu Aker who has been on strike for 54 days, and Ayyad Al Harimi for 25 days.

Institutions concerned with prisoners warn of the dangerous health conditions of administrative prisoners who are on hunger strike, especially the two prisoners “Fasfos” and “Qawasmi”.

The institutions say that the danger to strikers increases day by day, and there is a fear that they may suffer a sudden health setback, and that their brain or nervous system may be harmed, especially as a result of lost fluids in the body.
