Days of Palestine – Jerusalem
Fifty thousand Palestinians performed Friday prayers today in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict measures taken by the occupation forces at the gates of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that dozens of residents of Jerusalem, the West Bank and the occupied Palestinian interior flocked to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the high temperatures, obstacles and restrictions at checkpoints and entrances to the occupied city of Jerusalem.
They added that the occupation forces deployed in the streets of the city and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa, and were present at its gates, and stopped the worshipers arriving from all over Palestine, checked their personal cards, and prevented dozens of them from entering the mosque.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation authorities constantly impose restrictions on Palestinians’ access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially on Friday; To prevent them from performing prayer and ribat in it.
