Over 40 Killed in Sudden Israeli Incursion into Khan Younis
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

DayofPal– Khan Younis city echoed with an overnight tragedy as Israeli attacks struck multiple homes, claiming the lives of at least 40 Palestinians, most of them are children, and wounding further 20 people.

The wounded were brought to the Nasser medical complex on Khan Younis, local sources reported.

Amid a limited and sudden Israeli ground invasion into the eastern areas of Khan Younis last night, entire families have been wiped out from the civil registry, where the scale of loss was heart-wrenching, marking a dark chapter in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The limited ground incursion by Israeli forces unfolded particularly in the Al-Manara neighborhood of Khan Younis amidst a barrage of air and artillery strikes, leading to massive devastation and the killing of at least 40 people.

The Israeli strikes hit well-known families in Al-Manara including Al-Farra, Al-Najjar, Azoum, Nems, and Taimah. The Abedin family was completely erased from the civil registry, according to local sources.

In the early hours of Friday, several Palestinian victims were identified after the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from the Al-Manara neighborhood in Khan Younis. At least 20 people, most of them are children, were from Al-Farra family.

Since the onset of Israeli war on Gaza, at least 42,847 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed and other 100,544 wounded, according to the Gaza’s ministry of health.
