One hundred cyclists from Lancashire came together for a 25-mile bike ride to draw attention to the occupation of Palestine.

A cheering crowd greeted cyclists of all ages who had completed the journey around the Guild Wheel in Preston, concluding at Market Square.

The bike ride commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Nakba, the event that marked the occupation of Palestine in 1948.

The Friends of Al Aqsa (FOA), a non-governmental organisation acknowledged by the United Nations, organised the event to raise money and emphasise the significance of the Al Aqsa Mosque.
