A number of Palestinian farmers suffocated Saturday, January 14, 2023 as a result of being targeted with tear gas by the Israeli occupation forces, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces, stationed in the Israeli military sites east of Khan Younis, fired heavy machine guns and toxic tear gas canisters at farmers east of the towns of Khuza’a and Abasan, which led to the injury of a number of them with suffocation and breathing problems.

It’s noteworthy that the occupation forces deliberately shoot and fire tear gas canisters on a daily basis towards Palestinian farmers in the north and east of the Gaza Strip, and prevent them from obtaining their livelihood in safety and security.
