Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah warned on Thursday during a speech broadcast at the funeral of Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shukr that Israel had crossed red lines in the latest days.
He referred to two separate strikes in Beirut and Tehran which killed Hezbollah commander Shukr and Hamas political leader Haniyeh.
Hamas is bound to respond to Israel’s killing of its top military commander, Fouad Shukr, saying his death and that of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh “crossed” red lines.
“The enemy, and those who are behind the enemy, must await our inevitable response.”
Israel, in response, said it’s at top readiness to any upcoming attack with estimation that the assassination of the two seniors will slip the region into a war.
