The Israeli occupation launched Saturday evening, September 23, massive airstrikes on a Palestinian resistance observation post east of the Zeitoun neighbourhood, east of Gaza City.
According to local Palestinian sources, Israeli warplanes unleashed two rockets, targeting an observation post situated to the east of the Zeitoun neighbourhood.

This attack came after Israeli forces suppressed Palestinian protests near the separation fence east of the Gaza Strip, which were held against the Israeli blockade on the strip and in support of Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails.
Earlier on Saturday, the Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that four Palestinians suffered injuries to their lower extremities as a result of Israeli forces’ assaults on protesters in the eastern areas of Gaza.
