The death toll in Israeli attacks across Lebanon on Monday has risen to 182, Lebanon’s Health Ministry has announced. Another 727 people were wounded in today’s attacks.
Children, women and paramedics were among those killed and wounded in the attacks, the Health Ministry added.
The Israeli military launched about 150 air raids across Lebanon this morning.
Earlier today, residents of southern Lebanon receive phone calls ordering them to move away immediately from any post used by Hezbollah.
The country’s information minister, Ziad Makary, has urged people not to give the warnings “more attention than they deserve”.
Commenting on a possible ground incursion into Lebanon, the Israeli military spokesperson says “we will do whatever is needed” to ensure the return of evacuated residents of northern Israel to their homes safely.
