The Palestinian Union in Latin America (a civil society organization in El Salvador) has condemned US president Joe Biden’s visit to the Middle East, saying it will contribute to perpetuating the Arab normalization option and the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
In a statement on Friday, the Palestinian Union warned that Biden’s Middle East visit would give the occupation state a free hand to deepen its colonial project in Palestine and expand it to other parts of the Arab region.
The Union called on the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership to draw lessons from the so-called Jerusalem Declaration and stop wagering on the US administration and its deceptive promises.
The Union urged the PA leadership to embark on uniting the national front and call for an urgent meeting of the factions to explore ways to confront the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
