DayofPal—Jordan on Wednesday facilitated the return of 140 Gaza children and their family members through the King Hussein Bridge after they completed medical treatment in Jordanian hospitals under the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative.
According to medical reports, the children had successfully finished all stages of their treatment and received comprehensive, high-quality care. Arrangements were also provided for accompanying family members throughout their stay.
The patients were originally evacuated from Gaza with the support of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Arab Army as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to provide medical assistance to Palestinians in the besieged Strip.
Jordanian authorities stressed that patients are sent back to Gaza immediately after completing treatment to allow new groups to be brought in for care.
They said the approach reflects Jordan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to ensuring assistance without contributing to any form of displacement.
