DaysofPal- Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded early Friday in an Israeli airstrike targeting Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, as Israeli occupation forces continue violations of the ceasefire that entered its 111th consecutive day, according to Palestinian media sources.
The victims were identified as Walid Hassan Darwish and Yasser Mohammed Abu Shahada, who were killed when Israeli aircraft bombed a gathering of civilians in the camp.
Moreover, earlier in the morning, six more people, including a pregnant woman, were injured after Israeli warplanes struck a tent housing displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, local sources said.
Israeli naval forces also pursued Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Gaza City and opened fire toward them, witnesses reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli helicopters fired toward the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, alongside multiple airstrikes on the area.
The Israeli occupation forces claimed their forces detected eight armed individuals emerging from a tunnel in Rafah, alleging that three were killed and others pursued in subsequent attacks.
Palestinian sources have not confirmed these claims.
In addition, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
On Thursday, three Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, two in Khan Younis and one in Al-Maghazi camp.
That evening, Israeli forces carried out gunfire attacks and detonations targeting residential buildings in Rafah.
Local sources said Israeli military vehicles fired heavily near the Morag axis north of Rafah, while intense gunfire was also reported toward eastern areas of Khan Younis and eastern Gaza City.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, Israeli forces have killed 513 Palestinians and wounded 1,356 others through repeated violations, according to Palestinian figures.
Since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, the Israeli genocidal war has killed more than 71,667 Palestinians and injured over 171,343, amid widespread destruction affecting nearly 90 percent of civilian infrastructure in Gaza.
The United Nations has estimated the cost of reconstruction at approximately $70 billion.
