A leaked video footage released by Israeli Channel 12 late Tuesday August 6th, 2024 showed a group of Israeli soldiers rapping Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman detention camp.

Dozens of soldiers who shielded themselves appeared entering the facility before moving one blindfolded man aside. The detainee was then surrounded by a group of soldiers holding shields before they allegedly rape him.
According to Israeli media, the detainee was hospitalised after the assault with a torn rectum, broken ribs, ruptured bowels and damaged lungs.
The Israeli military police detained nine soldiers suspected of involvement in the incident for questioning. The soldiers deny wrongdoing.
