Israeli occupation forces prevented Monday, 24 October 2022 the Palestinian farmers in Salfit from accessing their own lands isolated behind the apartheid wall to harvest olives.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation troops entirely closed the three gates built along the separation wall north of the Al-Hawiya town scheduled to open at six thirty in the morning.
In a related incident, Israeli occupation forces prevented the Palestinian citizens of towns northwest of occuiped Jerusalem from reaching their own lands to pick olives behind the apartheid wall this morning.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occuiped West Bank have seen increased raids and violations by Israeli forces during the olive harvest season.
Since the beginning of the olive harvest season in Palestine, Israeli occupation forces and settlers escalated their raids and attacks into the Palestinian-owned lands, preventing Palestinian access to their land, uprooting, burning olive trees, and stealing olive crops.
