Israeli occupation forces IOF on Friday, July 1, attacked Palestinian mourners at a funeral of a Palestinian woman died earlier today in the town of Beit Ummar in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
Local sources reported that the Israeli forces attacked the funeral and attempt to prevent the mourners from accessing the cemetery to bury Nayfa Al-Tous, sister of the Palestinian prisoner Mohammed Al-Tous.
The sources reported that Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters towards the mourners while heading to bury Al-Tous in the afternoon on Friday.
Since the start of 2022, Israeli occupation troops have attacked four Palestinian funerals in Jerusalem and the West Bank, including the funeral of the slain Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
