A Palestinian man was announced killed on Wednesday morning while five others were injured following the Israeli raids on the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that a 58-year-old Palestinian man was killed and five others were injured due to the Israeli strikes last night.
The man, identified as Hashel Mubarak, 58, sustained critical wounds last night as Israeli warplanes targeted an area near his home in the northern Gaza Strip. He was proclaimed dead in the morning.
Last night, Israeli warplanes carried out violent raids across the besieged Gaza Strip, causing considerable damage to several Palestinian homes and structures.
Later, the Palestinian resistance responded and fired rockets at Israeli settlements adjacent to the besieged enclave.
Tensions escalated in the Gaza Strip earlier yesterday, following the announcement of the death of the hunger-striking prisoner Khader Adnan, a senior figure in the Islamic Jihad movement.
