DaysofPal- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out a series of airstrikes, artillery attacks, and demolitions across parts of the Gaza Strip on Friday, according to Palestinian sources, marking the 132nd consecutive day of ceasefire violations.
Local reports said the IOF detonated several residential buildings east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Off the southern coast, Israeli gunboats were reported to have fired heavily near Khan Younis, while armored units also opened fire toward eastern sections of the city.
Residents further reported two air raids east of Gaza City, accompanied by artillery shelling in surrounding areas.
The Israeli military had not issued an immediate response to the reported incidents at the time of publication.
Palestinian officials say that since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli operations carried out during alleged violations have resulted in 638 deaths, including 197 children and 84 women, and left at least 1,630 people wounded.
The latest escalation unfolds within the broader conflict that erupted on Oct. 7, 2023, between Hamas and the Israeli occupation.
Palestinian sources report that more than 72,000 people have been killed since the start of the war, with around 172,000 injured and over 8,000 still missing.
According to estimates by the United Nations, roughly 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed during the conflict.
Reconstruction costs are projected to reach approximately $70 billion.
Humanitarian organizations warn that continued hostilities, even at a lower intensity, threaten to further deteriorate conditions for civilians.
Large numbers of residents remain displaced and face acute shortages of food, clean water, medical supplies, and adequate shelter.
Efforts to stabilize the situation have been hindered by recurring security incidents, fragile political arrangements, and restrictions affecting aid delivery.
Analysts say these factors are undermining confidence in the durability of the ceasefire and complicating attempts to move toward longer-term recovery.
For many civilians in Gaza, the latest violence underscores the precarious reality on the ground, where daily life remains overshadowed by uncertainty despite formal truce arrangements.
