Groups of Israeli settlers set fire to a Palestinian home in Sinjil town, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, on Sunday early morning, March 26.
Palestinian media sources shared a video of Palestinian youths attempting at putting out the fire while pillars of smoke were rising.
The video showed kids of the family screaming after being left homeless in the street. “Settlers attacked and burnt Ahmed Maher’s home,” a Palestinian youth was heard appealing in the video.
Israeli settlers systematically attack Palestinian families in Sinjil town. Two large settlement outposts are built on the Palestinian lands in the area.
About 700,000 Israeli settlers live currently in more than 200 settlements built on Palestinian lands.
Palestinian figures showed that Israeli forces and settlers carried out about 151 attacks against Palestinian families and their properties in the occupied West Bank in February 2023.
The attacks included assaulting Palestinians, uprooting trees, razing lands, seizing properties, burning and vandalizing vehicles, and closing roads.
