Colonial Israeli settlers, protected by occupation forces, attacked Monday, May 8, 2023, Palestinian farmers in the northern West Bank villages of Jaloud and Qaryout, south of Nablus.
Settlers assaulted two farmers working on their land in Jaloud and slashed the tire of a tractor, said Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank.
According to local sources, settlers in Qaryout attacked farmers and prevented them from working on their lands.
Israeli attacks aim at making the lives of Palestinians unbearable. Settlers routinely carry out attacks against Palestinian lands and families.
During the first two months of 2023, at least five Palestinians have been killed by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank. In comparison, three Palestinians were killed in 2022, five in 2021, none in 2022 and two in 2019.
