Days of Palestine – Nablus
The Israeli occupation settlers razed Monday large areas of Palestinian land in Burin Village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
The Director-General of Publication and Documentation at the Settlement and Wall Resistance Authority, Qassem Awad, said that settler bulldozers destroyed some 50 dunums of Palestinian land near the settlement of “Yitzhar.”
He explained that the settlers recently established several settlement units in the bulldozed lands, threatening to seize large areas of the town’s lands owned by the Palestinian people of Burin, Hawara, and Asira al-Qibliya areas in Nablus.
He stressed that this area was declared occupied by the Israeli settlers for decades, and Palestinian citizens are prohibited from accessing, cultivating, and reclaiming them.
“The Israeli occupation forces and settlers gangs carried out such attacks in the context of the seizure of the land and the transformation of the West Bank into isolated cantons from each other,” He said.
