Israeli settlers burned Monday, June 12, 2023, agricultural fields in many towns in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, causing severe crop damage and heavy financial losses for the Palestinians.
The head of Asira Al-Qibliya village council, Hafez Saleh, said settlers from the “Yitzhar” illegal Israeli settlement, built on Palestinian lands, set fire to Palestinian lands planted with trees and crops, in the eastern side of the town.
He pointed out that these agricultural lands are adjacent to the settlement, and the Palestinian landowners cannot reach them regularly because of the continuous Israeli attacks.
The settlers rampaged Palestinian cars on the road between Qasra and Jaloud towns in Nablus, shattering many of their windows while carrying out riotous acts on the road.
