Israeli settlers attacked Thursday afternoon, January 12, 2022 Palestinian shepherds in Masafer Yatta in the south of the West Bank and forced them to leave the pastures, according to local activist Fouad Imour.
Armed Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Teskhar Man attacked Palestinian shepherds who were attending to their sheep in Ein al-Bayda area, and chased them out of the pastures.
Palestinians in Masafer Yatta make a living from raising livestock and depend on open pastures to feed their sheep. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers through the use of force under the protection of Israeli soldiers, have closed most of the pastures for the Palestinian shepherds while they allow their cattle free access to these pastures.
