Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces IOF, attacked and assaulted Palestinian farmers in Qaryout and Jaloud towns in occupied Nablus on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that a group of Israeli settlers attacked farmers while farming in their lands in Qaryout, forcing them to stop work.
Ghassan Daghlas, in charge of the settlement activities file in the northern West Bank, reported that Israeli settlers assaulted Palestinian farmers in Jaloud, southern Nablus.
He added that Israeli settlers sabotaged one of the agricultural tractors in the Palestinian lands in Jaloud.
Moreover, Israeli settlers assaulted the villagers Mohammed Hajj Ahmed and Salam Sami while farming their fields.
Israeli settlers carry out daily attacks against Palestinian lands and families in the occupied West Bank, causing damage to their properties.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli settlers and forces committed 442 violations against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied West Bank in April 2023.
A recent report by the UN revealed that Israeli settlers injured 1,222 Palestinians from 2012 to 2022 after carrying out 3,372 violent incidents.
