Dozens of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes and opened fire on Palestinian families in Om Safa village, northwest of occupied Ramallah on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
According to Palestinian local sources, groups of Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian homes, opened fire at families, and attacked Palestinian medics and journalists.
Marwan Sabah, Mayor of Om Safa village, reported that Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, fired live bullets at Palestinian families in the village.
Videos shared on social media showed a fire broke out in several Palestinian homes and properties due to the settler attacks.
In addition, Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Al-Kila condemned the settlers’ attack on an ambulance carrying a Palestinian patient near the village.
In a statement, the Health minister pointed out that the Israeli settlers attacked and stoned the ambulance driver, causing him bruises.
She also called on the International community to assume responsibility to protect the Palestinian medical crews and Palestinian people from Israeli settlers’ terrorism, supported by the Israeli occupation army.
For the fifth day in a row, Israeli settlers carry out attacks against cities and villages in the West Bank, burning dozens of properties and cars, and causing extensive damage.
Israeli settlers carried out attacks on about 10 Palestinian villages and towns in the occupied West Bank, mainly in Nablus and Ramallah.
