Israeli settlers attacked Thursday evening, June 29, 2023, Palestinian citizens and their properties in the village of Dura Al-Qara, north of Ramallah.
The head of the village council, Samer Dhiab, stated that a group of “Beit El” settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the Al-Ayoun area, south of the village and vandalized there.
Diab also pointed out that the occupation forces fired live bullets, stun grenades, and toxic gas, which led to fueling fire in vast areas of the village lands, resulting in large losses.
Settlers’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank, as this includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on homes.
There are over 700,000 Israeli settlers living in colonial settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of International Law.
