Israeli settlers attacked on Saturday evening, October 5, Palestinian farmers while they were picking olives in the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of the occupied West Bank city of Salfit.
Local sources reported that about 25 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the town of Kafr ad-Dik while they were picking olives.
The sources pointed out that the farmers confronted the settlers, who stole quantities of olives, equipment, and farmers’ personal property.
Since the start of the olive harvest season earlier in October, Israeli settlers have been escalating their raids into the Palestinian lands, stealing olives, uprooting, and burning olive trees.
According to Palestinian figures published earlier Saturday, Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, have carried out about 268 violations against Palestinian olive pickers and their lands.
