This comes as one of a number of Israeli-settler-led attacks. Photoaged of Israeli settlers attaching women and civilians as they (the settlers) are protected by the Israeli fanciest police.

Performing battery and assault on unarmed civilians.
Surveillance cameras at alHalisi family residence, in Silwan south of Jerusalem, captures a pack of Israeli settlers vandalizing the residence.

Amongst all these actions the Israeli settlers have endless immunity being protected by the Israeli police that flagrantly encourages such behaviors. On the other hand, Palestinians are being arrested, shot at, and assaulted by the apartheid police.
Records show that over 70 civilians have been arrested and some got their arrests prolonged some of which are women and children. 514 Palestinians were injured due to beating, rubber bullets that were directed to especially sensitive areas like the eyes, mouth, spine, neck, and such.
Those who have been arrested recount the torture and beating they have been subjected to by the Israeli occupation police. They recount that they were cussed at, and brutally tortured as they were interrogated and held captive. The Commission of Detainees Affairs has documented this treatment to be the case for both Moataz Hajj Mahmoud and Bilal Al-Jabari amongst many if not all, Palestinian prisoners that suffer from inhuman conditions in captivity and unlawful arrests without having their right to a fair trial.
