Israeli repression units of the occupation prisons administration, including soldiers with strong bodies and previous military experience stormed Sunday, June 25, 2023, section (21) of the “Ofer” Israeli prison and carried out extensive searches and vandalism in prisoners’ personal property.
The Prisoners’ Club stated in a brief press statement that Israeli repression units, “Alimaz and Masada”, stormed Section (21) in “Ofer” prison, and tampered with the prisoners’ belongings and property,
It’s noteworthy that repression units’ members have received special training to suppress and abuse Palestinian prisoners, using illegal weapons, including knives, batons, tear gas canisters, electrical devices that cause burns, weapons incendiary bullets, internationally banned “dumdum” bullets, and other bullets that cause unbearable pain.
According to the latest Palestinian statistics, there are about 5000 Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons, including 160 minors, 29 women, 750 patients, and 1200 administrative detainees.
