The Israeli Occupation Court in “Ofer” transferred on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the Palestinian detainee Khaled Al-Nawabit, 45, from the village of Burqa, Ramallah district, to administrative detention for a period of 6 months.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office stated that the occupation forces arrested Al-Nawabit on 11/22/2022, after storming his house in the village of Burqa.
He pointed out that the occupation court transferred him to administrative detention without charge, following a recommendation from the Israeli intelligence services, which claimed that he “poses a danger to the occupation and that he has a secret file that confirms this,” as is the case with the rest of the Palestinian administrative detainees who do not know what charges they are facing.
“Al-Nawabit” is a former prisoner who was detained by the occupation several times, and spent 27 months in the last arrest, on charges of sheltering the Palestinian prisoner, Assem Al-Barghouti, during his pursuit by the Israeli occupation forces, and he was released less than a year ago.
It is noteworthy that the Palestinian detainee Al-Nawabit is married and has four children.
Since 2011, he has been suffering from continuous detention in the Israeli prisons of the occupation, which have kept him away from his family and children for years.
