The Israeli occupation court in Ofer renewed Thursday, April 13, 2023, the administrative detention of the Palestinian prisoner, Sameh Kamil, from the town of Qabatiya, south of occupied Jenin for a period of 6 months for the third time in a row.
The director of the Prisoners’ Club in Jenin, Muntasir Samour, said that the occupation forces detained the Palestinian prisoner Kamil on April 16, 2022, while he was passing through the Al-Hamra military checkpoint.
He added that the occupation court issued an administrative detention order against the prisoner Kamil, 9 days after his detention.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli occupation currently detains 4765 Palestinians, including 29 females, 150 minors, 975 administrative detainees, and 600 patients.
In the absence of strong pressure to stop the systemic inhumane abuses, the racist and fascist policies of the Prison Service Administration have a negative impact on Palestinian detainees.
